What better place to hear from the Minister for Tourism, Major Events and the Commonwealth Games, the Hon Kate Jones, than the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre. The fantastic sports centre, which opened in August 2016, is just one of the venues that Gold Coast residents will gain as a legacy of the Games. Situated in Beattie Road, Coomera this facility will be utilised for the whole of the Games, hosting the always popular Artistic & Rhythmic Gymnastics competition and Netball finals.
The Minister will provide updates on the preparations so far, and what the legacy of the Games will mean for Gold Coast residents.
